Be Careful What You Ask For

Spirit Power

Hi Ruth.

Your book inspired me to try to reach my husband in the spirit world. He passed away a couple of years ago, and my three children and I are still having a hard time. I’m not scared at all, just need to make the spirit connection.

I have read many books, taken classes, but as hard as I try, nothing I do helps me see or talk to my deceased spouse.

I am hoping you can tell me what to do. I need to communicate with him. I have so many unanswered questions.

Mother of Three

Be Careful What You Ask For

Dear Mother of Three,

A dear friend of mine wanted to see her mother, who had passed away five years earlier. Finally one night she awoke at 2AM and SAW her mother’s ghost at the foot of her bed. She screamed, “Go away, I can’t handle this.” She covered her head with the blanket and her mother left, never to return. She regretted her outburst, but it was too late.

You can avoid making the same mistake as my dear friend by focusing on what you want to say to your husband. Was he a good role model or an absent one? If you could have one more day with him, what would you want that day to include, a loving thanks, an apology, what you didn’t get to say before he died? Focus on these thoughts while gazing at his photo.

Speaking to a loved one in spirit is easy, especially when the spirit wants to talk to you too.

Everyone wants to SEE, but they don’t believe they can, so they don’t. You say you’re not afraid, but I suspect you are fearful of seeing a ghost.

You need to find inner peace with your spouse. Believe he can hear your thoughts and feel your love. He is reaching out to you like a radio signal. Trust there is a reason why you’re so consumed with thoughts of him.

The more you feel his energy, the closer you will get to seeing him. At first you will think you’re making up what you hear, until one day what you hear makes sense and you’ll know the voice you’re hearing is his. Then you’ll never doubt again.

Murdered Victim Wants Killer to be Caught ASAP

Dear Ruth,

Recently I saw the ghost of a murdered victim I’d read about in the newspaper.

He told me how he was killed and who did it. Now he wants me to go to the police and tell them what he said.

I’m afraid the police will think I’m crazy. Why did he come to me? What should I do?

AZ
Dear AZ,

Ask yourself why did this ghost contact you?

Perhaps you’re a devotee of the TV show, Ghost Whisperer. Maybe your heart opened when you read about this man.

In either case, my hunch is that your ghost is afraid that someone close to him, may be killed next by the same person, unless he is caught.

I suggest you write out all the details he gave you, and give the information to the police, telling them what I wrote in the above paragraph. If you feel comfortable enough, you might add, “I’ll be glad to help you in anyway I can”.

Once you’ve done all the above, pray for the deceased to go to the light/heaven to find peace.

Paranormal Experience

A Spirit Message?

Dear Ruth,

I don't know if you can help me but for the past week i cant get this uneasy feeling to go away.

I thought maybe it was my aunt trying to reach me from the spirit world. I'm new to this feeling and it is starting to scare me.

I told my mom who read your book and she told me to tell the spirit to go into the light, and that her place was not here, but I still have that feeling. Is something wrong with me?

Kris

Dear Kris,

It is always wise to pay attention to your sixth sense and to check around for anything amiss. Like an animal in the woods, use your senses to note where the uneasy feeling is coming from.

My hunch is you froze and didn't look and listen. Now it's time for you to discover if the uneasy feeling is from outside or inside of you. First check out if what you're feeling is coming from anything or anyone nearby. If you can't see or hear a reason for your discomfort say your aunt's first name out loud to sense if this feels right. Then ask her what she wants. If it is your aunt, a feeling of loving tenderness will remove your uneasiness.
Trust what you sense in your head.

If what you hear feels right, do it. If not, firmly tell the ghost to leave.

The next time you get this uneasy feeling and another name comes to you, say that name aloud.

Your mediumship abilities may be opening.

Ghosts - New Home

Dear Ruth,
I live in a brand new home. At night I hear noises that sound like moaning, usually in the kitchen, living room at night. right in front of me in my bedroom.

A year ago my parents, sister and I moved into a newly built home. I don't think there are ghosts, but a lot of times I wake up to noises in my bedroom that sound like what I think a ghost would sound like. Noises like someone walking, whistling, thumping. I get so scared I go into my parents room while they're sleeping and fall asleep on their bed.

What do you think? Are there ghosts in my home? Age 9.

Dear Age 9,

Ghosts can live anywhere, including new homes. Ghosts come for many reasons, could be a deceased relative who needs comfort, a person who died suddenly who is related to a neighbor or relative, or just someone who got lost.

Before you can assume you have a ghost you must check out mechanical problems that might cause whistling, sudden noises coming through your pipes, walls, etc.

The walking could be animals thumping on your roof or in your attic.

Good luck!

Why Doesn't My Mother Visit Me?

Dear Ruth,

My mother has been gone for two years. During the past few days, my siblings are getting visits from her but she doesn't come to me.

I used to see my mother's ghost at night, and during the day I would her voice telling how much she loved me. I wonder if my sister-in-law is seeing my mother now because she’s more spiritually evolved than I am. I’m jealous because she’s not with me. Why is she ignoring me?
Jealous

Dear Jealous,

My hunch is your mother was caring, loving woman. She goes where’s she’s needed. You don’t need her right now, but your siblings do. Your sister-in- law isn’t more spiritually evolved than you, just is more open to seeing her. You're blocking your mother from talking to you with your envy.

Ask your mother to come and she will.

Ghost humor

LIFE AFTER DEATH:

"Do you believe in life after death?" the boss asked one of his new employees.

"Yes sir!," the new employee replied.

"Well, then, that makes everything just fine,” the boss went on, “After you left early yesterday to go to your grandmother’s funeral, she stopped in to see you!”

Ghost Talk

The first time I remember seeing ghosts was when I was 15.

Two ghosts kept visiting me in the middle of the night. They frightened me.

Now I've learned they were trying to help me.
