Mysticism vs. Metaphysics

Mysticism

Mysticism is a way of 'knowing.' It is a way of 'seeing' outside the realms of the of the ego. Mysticism holds that personal communication or union with the divine which can be achieved through experience, intuition, and/or revelation rather than 'just' through rational thought. ...

Metaphysics

Metaphysics is the study of 'first causes.' The prefix 'Meta' means beyond, higher, after or transcending.

Physics is that which deals with the 'physical' world.

Metaphysics refers to those laws which go beyond the delimitations of time and space and concerns itself with a 'higher' order of laws, or if you will, God's laws.
